your best bet would probably be a 2ohm amp otherwise you'll be paying out the ass for a 5kw 1ohm amp

I could be wrong, but I think you could get that kind of power from a Kicker
zx2500.1 @ 3 ohm.The ZX line are very nice amps. Just a suggestion.

I'm gettin a Kicker KX 2500.1 out of a trade for my soundsream xxx 6500. I'll have no use for it since I'll be using another amp. If you're interested in the KX 2500.1, let me know. I got MANY refs on other forums even though I'm new to this forum. The guy I'm getting it from said the benchtest showed was in the 2700w range @ 2 ohms.
