Don't count 'em out just because of the name... they're really nice subs if comparing to the AA's
The DD's are in a different league though, though 1500w to 4 of them is just enough to give 'em a tickle

i got an amp for ya..
my sundown 1500.. does 1500 at 1 or 2000 at 1 if you strap 2 of em.. i want 400 shipped

1998 dodge neon steet A car 2 10" Tc OEM DVC 2 sundown SAZ-1500d's strapped at 1 ohm coustom 3.6 cubed box tuned to 36 hz second skin deadner all though the car morel 6.5" midbass hertz german audio 1" tweets eclipse cd 8455 did a 143.6 on the TL w/ volume at 65 out of 80 and the bass knob on 1/16th.. in a 4 door! |

sundown on 4 1508's would be nice... I have some 1008a's and they're not too bad.. I've had RE 8"s, custom 2+ motor TC 8"s, eD 8"s and a few more... RE's got pretty low, but my 2+ 8"s were pretty rediculous... the eD's are not bad, but don't go as deep as the REs or TC's still very respectable, and decent output.. the DD's can bang... meter wise they'd be nice... dunno tho they don't seem to take abuse for long term, one of mine needs a recone just about, and it's because the cone creased so much the surround couldn't hold it.. so I used some 2 part epoxy and it's holding for now.. I dunno... I like the TC and DD the most out of all the 8"s I've played with, there are two I'd like to try, the True bass and 8w7

tc sound's cousin, and great subs.. 160 ea and could take 1000 rms ea no problem..
