WTB: SPL Meter

I am looking for a SPLmeter. I need one the will read 150db. I was going to get one from splmeter.com but their site is down and I can't order one.

I'm thinking ur looking for a TL, because if you're competing then might as well use a TL. I know over in ca.com there's a guy from texas that is selling one, he might now have it anymore but i guess u can try.

This does make me question whether or not u did hit 14x.xx with ur current set-up, legal i mean

Cool It was a legal 142.2 on a TL...

I did it at Advanced Mobile Toys on May 20, 2007. Look up Termpro site. Results for Ohio May '07. SS 1-2 NW. I placed 5th. Box was 1" too tall for Street B so they stuck me in SS 1-2 NW. A guy there had a meter from splmeter.com and it read a 142.0 from the same mic location during testing. That is why I am looking for one of those. Seemed pretty close. You can even see my Teg in the pics section. Hope that answers your doubts.

A Term Lab mic would be great...but

A new meter from splmeter.com is only $149 and, for what I need, is perfect. Thanks for letting me know.

you can get a epic-160 its no TL but it will give you some numbers above 150 and its only off a TL by a couple db's

Cool Thank You everyone...

While I understand your logic for purchasing a TL mic setup...I only need to see changes for my own personal use. That is why I like the SPLmeter. $150 and it has been within .3 db of a TL fairly consistently. I just wish I could find one. If I win a lottery in the near future...a TL is definitely in my future. Thanks again everyone.
