How to wire speakers?

Right now I have a run of 1/0 from my batt to my amp...for my sub. How would I install my comp amp? A distrubution block right? So on one end I would put in the 1/0, other end I put in say 4 gauge I guess would b plenty. Then connect the 4 gauge to the comp amp. Correct? Just want to make sure.

Get a distrobution block.
Most will accept a 1/0ga imput and have 4ga output. If you want 1/0 ga output and something really small a " T Block" from stinger is an excellent choice. The name describes it, its a T, 1 imput, 2 outputs. Just have your main 1/0 coming from the battery going into the block. Then have another wire coming from one of the sides to the sub amp and another for the speaker amp. Not that hard to screw up.

The current run goes to the block, then from the 2 outputs on the block, 1 goes to the sub amp, and 1 goes to the comp amp
