Ive had a few sets of Polk speakers and I liked them, they are usually more expensive but they are nicer speakers IMO. The set you picked looks good, but be careful with the 6.5" size, I know crutchfield says it will fit but it will probably require you to do some trimming. I just put a set of Arc Audio Kar 5.25" speakers in and they were alittle small but they fit fine. I do need to put some deadening behind them but their alright for now.
I have another set of them if you would be interested in them, they are 5.25" components, they take 80 watts make and are a single 4 ohm coil. They do not need the 80 watts to sound good. Lemme know if youre interested and I can get some pics and make a FS thread. I also have a set of the Arc Audio Kar 5x7's that will fit in the spots in the rear corners. Lemme know---Dinty

If you dont go with the Arcs, good luck in your search for a set of speakers, theres many sets out there to try

im running Polk audio. all around in my car too. and they sound very good. can handle lots of bass with out distortion, pretty clear highs without being annoying and good mids.

I actually like those speakers. I did a little demo at CC with them and was impressed.

I like their tweeters quite a bit but didn't care much for the mids at all. I love their carbon series amps as well but they're a little more difficult to find.

I think they are some great speakers. Thier tweeters are very smooth, which I like. all in all I think they are a pretty good deal.
