ssd's are from what i hear pretty good sub's for the money. 800 rms should do good as long as the enclosure is built properly. is it going to be ported or sealed?

I liked the SSD. It my setup (2.5@33 ~birch) it was louder than the Q and a Pioneer SPL 2000. I ran it with aprox 1200 watts daily. I really like the sub.

I would also consider the Pheonix Gold RS. They are pretty cheap and supposed to be great budget SQL subs.

The SSD sounds like a good fit... another one to look at is the AudioQue SD2.5, though they are a little more SPL than SQL...

They're $139 + shipping and should get awful dang loud off of 800w
