Have any idea how much I can stress a re8? - Buy & Sell Car Audio Equipment

My 07 md1d should be on it's way. I had to order it because it wasn't in stock. I have a spare re8 laying around that I'm really not worried about.

I was wondering what's the highest people have burped them on? The md1d will do about 700 rms at 2ohm. I would build a new box and tune high. Current box is .75 at 32 and I was giving it 200 watts when it was installed.

700 seems like a lot for that little guy, but maybe for a quick burp it can take it. i doubt it would last that long doing that though.

well since u don't really care about it, why bother with how much power is gonna go to it. Strap it to the md1d, crank the gain up, make a vid, post it on here

Well, Next week I will build the box and prepare for the amp to get here I suppose.

Make the box small as possible and do an external 4" aero port.
