Any suggestions for what kind of subs I should put in my car?

Hey, everyone!!! I am buying a 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88, and I was just wanting to know if anyone has any suggestions for what kind of subs to put in it. I don't care about price or anything right now, I am just looking around, and I want something that will work for that car. So suggestions will be great.

wow...that's really vague so it's hard to help u. I think you really need to sit down and think about budget, what you want out of the system, etc. Then it'd be easier to help you out.

Don't think I'll catch up anytime soon lol

Just as an FYI here guys, Hunter is my brother (not like Hey Bro!, but my real brother lol)

We're thinking about a pair of 12's... the seat doesn't fold down, so we're looking at doing a 4th order with an assload of port area and going up through the rear deck.

Talked to 80, and might be leaning towards Mach 5

LOL! The price would probably be around 700 to 800. IonSQL came up with a really good idea for the box, which will solve the problem of getting the sound into the car. Once I figure more out, i will post again.

if he's going for budget then I don't think he can beat the Mach5 in anyway. Too bad that TC doesn't have anymore OEM12s or else i'd tell u guys to go with those. But i'd look at tc though, they have some good price for their lower lines.

i promised you it'd be related to this thread

I'd look to see if BE still has some of their TC9 in 12s(i doubt it), but i think with that budget u can do better than Mach5, unless u want four

The TC9 was another option... and right now TC has them for $158 shipped for Memorial Day (or until they run out).

AQ SD2.5's are also an option... just trying to avoid having to go with the Arrghs lol
