OEM10 with PR's
Just a little info for some haters out thier. I posted some about using PR with the OEM10s. No I am not using the PR TC is selling. I built my own using some lightning audio top assemblies I had. Pulled the 3hp motors off to use on some other subs. Both 10s had burnt VC's but the suspensions were still stiff enough for my needs. I mixed up some fiberglass resin and pored about 3/4" worth into the VC after runing some 1/8"crossbolts through the former. Let it harden. Than put a desired weight of birdshot to get the tuning freq I wanted. This took awile, but by inverting the PR and adding weight till it was tuned alittle higher than what I wanted. Finally again crossbolting the former a filler the rest of the way with resin. Has worker very well and only cost me time and a couple dollers in supplies. Granted the TC version are more polished and better looking, but my version works very well. The OEM are great little subs with very very good extension and power handling. Working on getting picks up. So if you have some blown subs and want to play around with something different here is a idea.
