Need some advice on some comps

I have never upgraded my front stage, and its time to do so. However, I know absolutely nothing about components. What would be a good pair to run up front in my Silverado? I have a 12" Q in a 4th order bandpass running off 1000 Watts RMS. It can get pretty loud, so I need something that can keep up. Price range I am looking at is ~$200 for the components. Let me know what you guys would recommend, and a good place to get them at as well.

I love my Crystal SSCS's... get awfully loud off of 100w each side, and I got them for $165 shipped new. I think you can PM Toxic Tuan about them...

Other than that, Boston Pro 60's get really loud as well, and can be run coaxially. Generally will be more than $200 though.

Hell I dont know. Ive never had a front stage. Basically its just being out done by my sub, so Im looking to get louder up front. Still want it to sound good though. Not too harsh I guess.

everyone on CA loves the Rainbow SLC's. i got a pair of germs coming my way in a week. but for ~200 i would look at CDT as well. my buddy got a set of the CL-61 (I think thats the model number) and they don't sound too bad. pretty good midbass, but IMO the highs are little harsh at loud volumes. but i think almost every tweeter is too harsh for me. i was told the germs are anything but harsh, so thats why i picked them.

I had talked to tuan the other day on ca, he says he think's they won't be selling them anymore. Apparently they have been having major problems with warranty. That being said I'm still considering them.
