Mossman Cometh

I put this thread here because Ion designed the box. Housed inside is 4 eD 8s. The final nomial load is 2.6 ohms. Bandpasses are kind of a bitch to build so I won't be building another prolly.

I think it came out rather well. It looks more like an old piece of furniture than a glossy new toy. The ends on the back are kinda rough so I may sand them down.

I thought the edges on the top would give me a problem but they just made a more "aged" look.

Another thing I learned dealing with staining birch is you never know what you are gonna get. There was some scratches or something in the wood that are ordinarly invisible, but the stain brings them out. I think it adds character

It's called moss green. I really like how it turn out so antique-looking.

I am really happy with how it turned out except the bottom. The design made the bottom fit "in" instead of "on top" because of that, the weatherstrip wouldn't really work how I wanted it to. What I did was line the gap with sealer, screw it down, and tomorrow I am going over the bottom with duct tape to ensure it doesn't leak. That is the part I hate about bandpass is accessing the subs.

I said Mossman because I was thinking of ozzman, but the color is moss.
