This is a design for stalephotograph (ca.com, not a member here... yet

)

2.3cf after displacements, tuned to 32Hz. ~40 sq in of port, 3" x 13.5"

45" long x 15" deep x 12" tall

Sub and port up per stalephotograph's request...

Here are the renderings... will be getting him his cutsheet in a bit.

He requested 32Hz, but I could make a recommendation to him to tune lower...

Bleh...in car. Tuning lower than 30 won't yield a much better response. 30 is about as low as you would need to go. That is unless you have a fetish for 25hz tones, or listen to pipe organs.

It's interesting to watch the different schools of boxdesign. I built one of 80's bandpasses, it was a monster down low.
