Box design for one 18" FI BTL Fully Loaded - Buy & Sell Car Audio Equipment

Car: 1995 Ford Mustang GT

Sub: Fi BTL 18" Fully loaded Dual 2 ohm

Trunk Dimensions

31" length
36" width
13" tall

These dimensions are from the inside of the trunk and not the opening. I would like to assembly the box inside the trunk b\c it seems that its the only way to fit an adequate size box for the 18 in to the car.

I would like this to be an adjustable port box with a port with really low tuning for some breath taking bass, another port for daily driving, and an spl port for straight loudness.

I have been tring to figure out a way to fit the box and sub in the trunk for a wile now and the only way I have found is Having the Sub Mounted On the Top of the box Firing up towards the trunk lid"figuring some mat will be needed"

. For the port.. I would really Like For it to be on the front side of the box Firing into the Cabin of the car from where the seats lay down. Assuming this will be the loudest and most easiest accesible spot for the port to be changed out.

Hoping this is possible to do with not to much space to work with but the in trunk construction should help by allowing a bigger box.

My main goal is to hit around atleast 140db or higher with the spl port. Always love Louder!

btl's are teh sex, i doubt it would take much power to hit 140 db...as long as that trunk is sturdy enough

whats going to be powering it?

Get in touch with BJ... his box prices include shipping (under 5cf or so), so you might be better off than you think

I know a local guy says he will let me work on it with him so i can learn. I plan to get an 05 RE XXX i want to build my own box for it!!! But for my 2 SX' 15's i buying this week hes gona do it i cant afford more then 150 for a box he has a lot of spare parts around so that should keep the price down!!!
