ran this receiver with the htib speakers for about 3 months and my definitive technology 7001's towers and it sounded ok for what it was, claims 120 watts but its highly over rated just like most all htib system. it did work fine for all that time never shut off or went into protect. it just didnt have enough power for what i wanted. one added bonus i liked is that it had a preamp output for a sub or 120 watt output from the receiver.
con's well i dont like the amber display, just personal preference on color. not enough power for towers maybe some bookshelfs.
also no hdmi inputs

and most receivers at this price range that do have hdmi wont even use the audio part of it. they act more like a switch box.
