Experience: I have only been in the audio community for 4 years, now but in that short time period I've designed, built, and installed many speaker boxes. I have built three SPL vehicles that have attended world finals events, with 1 World Record and 4 Top 5 finishes. The enclosures I build are back to the basics designs. I have always enjoyed doing more with less. For instance I designed, built and installed a trunk setup that did 142.0dB in BassRace (30 second average sealed on the dash playing music ) with 2 entry level 12s and 300 watts total. This was accomplished with a properly designed ported box. Maybe a 4th order bandpass would have been louder, but this box could have been assembled by any amature with an afternoon and a few minor tools.

Hixbox enclosure designs will be designed using a variety of tools ranging from BBP, a calculator, and my head. My extensive exposure to many subwoofers, including almost every 12" subwoofer commonly used.... Thanks to loyd lowry and the 12" test session we had at my house... has given me a very good basis to design.

The enclosure price will be at a minimum $10.00, but shouldn't be more than $25.00. Also every enclosure design can come with a decal for a mere $2.50 more.
