Stripped out remote turn on

Why one would make connectors out of plastic confuses me, but I stripped out my remote turn on wire. Now how can I get it to work? And when they car is off and no key is on, I hook up the remote wire, and the sub just starts going crazy. Wtf?

I'm not sure what you mean by stripping out the wire...

Stick the wire in and melt some solder in it. You will have to drill it out to remove the wire but what are you going to damage the set screw?

About the sub going crazy that is another issue.
