ok so im driving down the road bumpin along an my dual out of nowhere just stops i mean turns off comes back on and says protect so i get home take it apart aqnd boom big burnt circut board so i piched it an i know that

for $105 i must say it dosent sound bad either nice and clear crisp highs there iws only one pre out and iuts only 2.0 v but i give it a 7 out of 10
for sound and a 8 out of 10 for build quality espeicaly coming from
wallyworld plus its got an aux input and a remote.

What i am about to say is not an attempt to flame you, but maybe just making suggestions.

First of all, the dual unit u had was and probably still is crap and i mean pure crap. Secondly, I think you may have made a mistake in buying a walmart one to replace it. Instead, i think you could've saved up about 100 more and get a better unit on the net, or from the classifieds in various forums.

I'm pretty sure that ur HU rite now will more than likely end up being like your dual unit, i hope it doesn't, but more than likely it will. And if it doesn't, it probably won't offer you all the features that other slightly more expensive units can offer. Really i think by buying this unit u will just be disappointed with it later, like i was with my Aiwa

But anywayz, sorry for the long post, just trying to give suggestions. Have fun with it though

Edit: I guess pioneer is not so bad, but u should refrain from buying anything but raw materials from walmart

I cant see the link you posted (it only goes to the homepage). The only HU i would buy at wal-mart is the best Pioneer they sell and I still wouldnt recommend it. Wal-mart is notorious for changing one letter in the model number and taking most of the good stuff away from the HU making it a budget model.

it didn't work for me either, but i saw scosche in the link. And even if it's not scosche(didn't even know they made headunit ), for $105 it can't be all that great, especially from walmart.

And , as far as scosche goes, stick to their wires

its a pioneer deh 1900mpan i know but im on a buget right now my mom set a limit of $120 so i opted for pioneer seeing as its a trusted name brand

o well lesson well learnd it works for now besides its just till fall hopefully
then ill have 600 to play around withill get a new hu and spend the vrest on subs and amp funny thing is when i bought it some manager suggested a crappy vr3 hu instead lol he said he had it in his car lol

lol, at least u didn't go with the vr3 crap. He probably has all vr3 in his car and be mad jocking the ladies when he be parking lot pimping

But yea, 600 is not a bad budget for a first system
