Popping Sound

Every time i change songs i hear a thump from my sub. it doesnt come out of the speakers just the sub. Also, when i turn the volume on the HU all the way down it still does some random thumping sound coming from the sub every once in a while, even when there's no music coming out.

What could this be? i know for sure the amp is wired right. I checked the ground, and its solid. Could it be a speaker wire problem? or a ground in the HU possibly?

My setup is an orion 2500d, Fully loaded BTL, yellow top, Big 3, and my HU is a JVC KD-G720 what could the problem be?

Thanks,
Ts

It may very well be a ground in the HU. However, it could be the HU itself that is having trouble. I found this out wen i swapped out my older Aiwa(long time ago ppl) for a newer one and the thumping stop. But anywayz, check the HU ground first. I can't help u with anything else other than that, good luck

Sounds like it, either try new RCAs. Or maybe ground them? I have no idea what that means but i've heard that is one of the thing to do

Best bet is to re-run new RCAs and see wat's up. Good luck
