right speaker too loud and left too quiet

one day i heard a crackling noise coming from my rear left speaker. I thought the speaker was blown so i replaced my back speakers. and it was still doing it. so i ran a new wire to that speaker. now my right speaker is louder than it should be and my left speaker is quieter than it should be. can anyone tell me what this could be? thanks

Is this ran from your deck or an external amp?

Im guessing from the deck, so Im going to say:

1. The quieter speaker is wired backwards.
or
2. One of the channels on the deck is messed up.


If its ran of the external amp it could be the same as above or an RCA issue.
