Comparison of 10 Different Brands of Wire

From the right to the left
  • 4/0ga welding
  • 3/0ga welding
  • 2/0ga welding
  • 1/0ga welding
  • 1/0ga Kicker Hyperflex
  • 1/0ga Lighting Audio
  • 1/0ga Knu Kollossus
  • 2/0ga welding
  • 1/0ga welding
The last four pcs of welding wire are from Ebay link and the first two pcs of welding wire are from my local welding supply shop.

I thought this would be a much better comparison w/ the wire zip tied as tight as it will go...

From the left to the right:
  • 4/0ga welding
  • 3/0ga welding
  • 2/0ga welding
  • 1/0ga welding
  • 1/0ga Kicker Hyperflex
  • 1/0ga Lighting Audio
  • 1/0ga Knu Kollossus
  • 2/0ga welding
  • 1/0ga welding

The first four pcs of welding wire are from Ebay link and the last two pcs of welding wire are from my local welding supply shop. As you can see, that pc of 1/0ga orange wire is very small compared to the amp 1/0ga wire. In all fairness to the Knu wire, it has very small strands and compressed more easily than the rest. The Kicker wire has that funky rope lay and did not compress that easily. As you can tell, all three of the amp 1/0ga wire is basically the same size as both 2/0ga welding wire.

From left to right..
  • 4/0ga welding wire
  • 3/0ga welding wire
  • 2/0ga welding wire
  • 2/0ga welding wire (two different manufactures)
  • 1/0ga welding wire
  • 1/0ga Lighting Audio
  • 1/0ga Kicker Hyperflex
  • 1/0ga Knu Kollossus

Props to Qtrhorse
Props to dinty01 for suggestion

GREAT comparison, but I still like hyperflex, it feels sooo soft!

I use one of these cable cutters from klein tools, they are aka finger cutters. Not too expensive either.

Honestly, i love my spool of kicker gray 1/0. Great wire and very flexible. Gonna be really easy for me to fit through the firewall and the curves.

I own 1/0 welding cable and i must say, it's great wire BUT that shit is stiff! Took me hours to install that ish in my ride.

welding supply carries the 4/0 terminals yes.

I have used Knu Kolossus, Kicker Hyperflex, and Sitnger Elite I beilieve it is (the kind that is an octagon or whatever) and the Kicker was by far my favorite to use.
