what wires would i need??
ehy kids, eventually, i'ma get some crystal sscs6 comps, waitin on my diamond 400.4 now and then i'm lookin for some 8's or an ultra loud 10 or 12 and a small mono amp. what wires do i need to connect the HU to the amps. if it helps, i drive a 1995 nissan maxima and it's a sedan. do i need any connectors or fuseholders or whatever??

are you using the stock headunit? are you also talking about power wire? what you need from the headunit is a remote wire and rca's. if you are running a stock headunit, you'll probably want a line out converter. what that does is convert your speaker leads into rca outputs. you can use the high level inputs if your amp has that. for a remote you'll probably want to tap into the accessory wire, but you'll have to figure out which one it is

naw its a pioneer HU. i guess i need powerwire too huh? ok,so i need rca's and a remote wire.

you need a whole amp kit then. you'll need power wire from battery to amp with inline fuse at battery, ground wire, remote wire and rca's. there maybe a tutorial on this site about hooking up an amp. haven't checked them yet.

Just get a kit. It has power and ground wire, fuses holder, fuses, rem. wire, RCA, and speaker wire.
Basicly everything u need.

U got it but i agree Icetee we should have a tutorial where it shows noobies how to hook up an amp nd wire a system....mayb when i get all my stuff in ill put one together..

for that amp 4 gauge will be fine. go with the cheapest one. knukonceptz has a great kit for like under $30 iirc
