doesn't list it on their site but it'll be a lot. they generally least peak current draw anyways and not continuous draw, but a 3k watt amp is gonna suck some current

That 300amp iraggi alt will handle 3kW just fine...

I = P/E

Amps = Watts / Volts.

Amps = 3000 / 14.4 (nominally)

208 1/3 amps

And thats at a continous power; your subs will rarely see anywhere near 3kW, unless you listen to pure sine waves :-)

that is considering your amp is 100% efficient and most class D amps are about 60% efficient, however you are correct as the amp will not be producing 3k watts playing music

Class D are not 60% effecient. Most are in the 70-80 range.

say you are running 10 thousand watts, would you be ok with a 300 amp alt or would you need 2 alternators?

I'll be honest here Jim, if u have to ask this question then I don't really think you should be trying to run 10k in ur car. But that is only my suggestion
