The adapter that connects from the stock HU plug to the aftermarket HU plug can be bought at walmart for 5 or 6 bucks, I'm sure its cheaper than crutchfield, but I can be wrong. As long as you get the right one, there is no need to cut stock wiring. The only thing you need to do is connect the adapter which has wires on one end to the wires on the harness and plug them in the appopriate places and you're set. As for deck installation, you might want to look up the link below and see if this is the right dash for you (click the picture) and if it is you can follow that guide.

There is also the antenna and illumination/dimmer wire as well. Other than that you dont need to hook up any of the wires. The wires from the harness will go directly to the speakers.

i wont need the antenna because i wont be listening to the radio. and i heard i don't need to hook up the illumination and dimmer wires...

i was told the cadence txa1000d has 1 power supply and is about 150 amps. so is this distro block a good one to get? they said it holes 150 amp fuses. eBay: Tsunami FDB1004-MANL (4) Pos Digital Distribution Block (item 250139182642 end time Jul-11-07 01:05:02 PDT)

thanks for the help levon.

yeah it holds 150 amp manl fuses, in your case you're probably going to need 1 150 amp fuse for your sub amp and I still don't know how many amps your comp amp takes, that amount will go on the other side of the fuse block

you should be alright with the big 3... if you had a 90 amp or so that would be questionable about getting a new alt, but you should be cool
