amp mounting

im planing on getting the cadence txa 1000d but it is 25" long =X. is it ok to mount it on the back of the enclosure? i heard it wasn't good to, if not, what's wrong with it?

I've done it for years with no ill effects...

If you don't have the enclosure built yet I'd have internal braces in the locations on the panel where the amp will mount...

And on the outside I like to use little rubber washers to keep the amp off of the surface and absorb what little vibration might be there...

The amp takes more abuse when you go over a railroad track than when the bass hits

so i can mount it on the enclosure with no problem?? if so, should i still use the washer?

Yes, there will be no problem.

I personally like to use the washers so there is a little airflow under the amp and as shock absorbers... but they're not necessary.

ok, one amp down. now time to see where i can mount the component's amp...possible on the side of the enclosure?? and for my crossovers, can i mount them in the glove compartment?

no reason you couldn't.... I've got my crossovers under the passenger's seat, would have put the comp amp under the drivers seat as well if it would have fit...

comp amp was going under there but it's too high..so i will most likely mount it on the side of the enclosure.
