pioneer prob!! - Buy & Sell Car Audio Equipment

i have the premier 860 and the cd doesnt slide out all of the way. when i tap the top or bottom of the cd then it comes out all of the way. it sounds and looks like its rubbing on one of the dust flaps. what can i do to fix this??? also do you think i can buy a new face plate from pioneer?

If still under warranty, they might be able to replace it. I'd give Pioneer a call and see what they recommend. You don't want to alter anything and void any warranty. Does it do that with every CD or just certain ones?

every cd. i bought it used and now im finding all these probs. im very upset about this. i just looked to see if i can get a new face plate and i can but its going to cost me 300$ ugh

If thats the case, by a new deck and sell yours on ebay. just say it has a problem at times ejecting the cd completely but it comes out just fine.

well duh...and i say get rid of the pioneer somehow, or even find a place to fix it for cheap if they can fix it. And get an eclipse

What? Ive been using the same pioneer deck for 7 yrs.

where can i get it fixed? the cd doesnt bother me that much but the selector button on the right side doesnt work that well. thats y i wanted a new faceplate. i love the 6.5v preouts and the settings on the pioneers. sigh. i cant believe im saying this but what other deck compares to the pioneers in settings and fetures etc...
