What Exactly is strappable?
I know it has to do with combining two amp but im not sure on the whole thing. How you do you strap amps? Is an orion 2500D strappable?

This is my attempt at explaining this, but not too sure about it. I'm pretty sure that an amp is strappable if you see a master and slave switch on it. There should be some kind of cable that allows u to "strap" them together.
I think strapping just allow you to only have to use the setting on the master amp and it will apply it to the slave amp also. I think that is correct :shrug: anyone else can feel free to correct me  |

its basically the same as using 2 amps not strapped, but when you do that, its kind of hard to exactly match the gains, etc. when you strap, one amp is the master, and one is the slave. you set the settings on the master amp, and the slave amp goes by what the master amp is set to. i believe orion 2500d's are strappable too.
as far as physically strapping them, ive never done it, but i think its just a wire that you use to connect the 2 amps, usually provided by the manf.

It acts as one amp. One of the amps run the +s and one runs the -s. You use the + on both amps for the outputs and the - outputs of each amp are connected together 8gauge wire. Then you usually have a RCA to connect them together for the gains and what not.
