No need to fuse right?

Setting up a rear battery. The front and rear will consist of 2 fuses of course. But what about the amp to rear battery? It will be a 6" length 1/0. No need to fuse that, correct?

so youd rather him burn down his car than blow an amp?

your setup should look like this

front batt -- fuse ------------fuse----- rearbatt--- amp

otherwise if you get a short between the batts only one fuse will blow and it will still be shorted

That's what I explained in the beginning. I have 2 fuses running between my batteries. Just like your diagram. Front battery 300a fuse, rear battery 300a fuse. I'm talking about the 1/0 wire from my amp to the rear battery positive.

not neccesary, but if your powersupply shorts in your amp it will catch on fire... not a likely event, but if u wanna be 100% safe u could use one, i personally would not

Yea, but 99% SPL vehicles don't use fuses period. What about for daily driving?

I just don't have the cash to buy a fuse and fuse holder. Yea, i'm poor.
