I would not say that Crunch is low line. Yes, it isnt quite Hifonics, but the build quality of the Crunch amps is almost right up there with the Hifonics amps. I ran lears class a/b ground pounder amps and they rocked. The amps were tanks, built really strong. They could handle insanely low loads for burping. Now, this year they are Class D and I expect them to be some pretty nice amps. Far more than a low line amp, that is for sure.

If you find any older crunch amps like the 50shc or the ca400's then those are nice made by Zed Audio back in the 90's.
I actually have 6 old crunch amps and also i'm selling one on ebay right now check it out under my id cutra*.
I can't comment on the current or new upcoming crunch amps.

BTW, the're manufactured under maxxsonics I have seen quite a few gp3000.1D pro, at comps, and they can really put out. Also capable of 18 volts, and is without a doubt underrated.
