these pics suck
anyway. i have a 1995 nissan maxima gxe. the stock speakers i have were 5.25 in the front and are 6.5's in the rear deck. i bought some crystal sscs6's which are 6.5" comps, so that was a problem.

1.) as u can see, the fronts are 5.25"
2.) the baffles that they were housed in were 6.25 - 6.5inches
3.) and the door hole itself was 6.5 inches

unfortunately, the pics i took off the beginning stages of me deadning the doors were deleted off of my GF's camera, courteousey of HER!!!

4.) needless to say, i deaded the doors. 1 layer on the inner surface facing the cabin, 1 layer on the surface facing outside the cabin and 1 layer on the inner surface where the speakers is. all done with edead v1SE............. especially after i just read that post where dude tested the new edead vs. SS sound deadner!!!!!!! baffles had to be made for the crystals
5 & 6.) i deadned the trunk and trunk lid. 1 layer on each
7.) trunk and lid together

8.) these are the tang band 8's
9.) another shot
10.) them in the box. the box is a moe lester design......... 1.65 cu ft @ 28hz. the box is little but heavy as fuc!!

11.) just showing this again so u can see those 2 massiveholes i had to try to cover
12.) the ultimate installer working on some wiring
13 and 14.) the holes are covered!! it was cold as hell that night, so i used a blow dryer to heat the doors and the deadner. to cover the holes, i would A.)heat the doors, B.) cut a piece of deadner that was big enough to cover the holes well as grab onto the door, C.) cut enough of the wax paper away that the edges would grab onto the door while the middle of the deadner was still covered in the paper so no strange stuff would stick to it D.) put in on the door and blow dry it E.) take another piece that was the xact same size as the first and peel away all the paper F.) cover the first pice of deadner and blow dry it
if i had to do it a 3rd time i would. it worked like a charm

15.) the ultimate installer putting the amps on my box. the pic of my trunk with both wheel well and the lid showing......... well, the back of the back seats are made out of plastic; therefore we couldn't screw amps into there. so we attached my diamond to the front of the box and attached the JBL 300.1 to the side of it

more pics to come later
