Walls
I feel completley stupid asking this question, but walls is never anything I paid attention to.
I know what a wall is, when you face the subs and port forward and basically make a wall, isolating the rear (behind your subs) from forward of your subs. Are there any benefits of this or is it just a preference? And how exactly do you wall a trunk car? Is my setup considered a "wall"?
My setup:

no, usually but not always walls are louder than normal setups with the same kind of gear.
But then kenny's wall which was infact beautiful but only put up around 150DB with two 18" BTL's So walls arent always louder than a ported box. But in most cases walls are fucking loud.
O and youd wall off a trunk car just like any car... i think iaml3pimp(SP?) walled of his trunk car

Kenny's wall wasn't built to be an spl fart box. It was designed for bassrace...

For 140-149.9? No, he was dead on. Its all about control and that wall was designed for control. Once it was tuned, he was doing 152 daily...at the clearwater meet, something was wrong and, I like how you used "only", but he only did 150.

Yea, he could have squeezed more from it, no doubt about that. But I dont think he 'wanted' it that loud. 150 is plenty enough for daily, lol, never competed with it though...
