6th order for pair of hd312's

Just for starters I have a 2006 toyota corolla I compete in stock class in IASCA with. I have a pair of audioque hd312's d4's powered by a pair of massive audio p3000.1's. I have tried 3 different enclosures with them and currently the loudest on the TL has been 147.8. My current box is 5.04 cubes slot vent, with 89 square inches of port. The subs are inverted facing up and port facing rear. This has so far been the loudest in my car. I have tried 4 and 5 cube enclosures, sub and port facing forward trunk sealed off and unsealed and facing the box firing to the rear unsealed. Just asking your opinion if you think trying a bandpass design may would bring the numbers up some! If so let me know and I can get you the measurements to see what you can come up with! Just trying to break the 50's with this setup, and I believe it is possible just have to find the right enclosure!! Thanks!!

I pmed you the measurements but incase you didn't get it you can use as follows 34"wide x 16"high x 22" deep. Do you think maybe a 6th order could get louder in the trunk than standard porting? Like in my initial post i tried facing the subs forward and the port sealing off the trunk, but it was 3db's quieter than subs up and port to rear, with trunk being unsealed. I was thinking maybe due to shape of car from trunk to dash maybe trying a 6th order may be a little louder due to the space in the car. Also I am going for show and shine events with this car so bear in mind i will probably be using a plexi glass top on the box and putting mirrors and neons inside for the bling effect so it will be a custom job build on the box!!

my friend has an hd3d4 and a massive 3000 also. his is in a golf though... he is trying to see if he can get a 150 with that setup... highly unlikely, but thats what he thinks it can do.

What's it tuned to? I have read they perform best ~40hz tuning. If I were you I would try a bandpass horn, should see an increase.
