Something I Whipped Up

i got a pm from some1 who i designed a box for
(1 lms5400 18 in a 4th order bandpass)
so to make a long story short..theres a comp goin on 2day and on friday he hit me up wanting to try another bandpass made 4 spl...
the subs 2 dd3512e's
the amps 2 sundown saz-3000d's(strapped) so we lookin at atleast 7k watts
so heres wat i came up with and he built it...keep in mind his goal was to do 148db;s on the tl mic sealed at the glass

the box is a 6th order bandpass
the rearchamber is 2.72cubes(after port and sub displacement) with 41.25 sqaure inches of port tuned to 42hz
playing into the front chamber which is 4.25 cubes (after port displacement) with 176 square inches of port tuned to 86hz

i called to find out how the testing went
and he told me he was able to play music on it and it kills the lows...so far i was happy...wat made me jump out of my seat...is when he told me with 1 amp he was able to do 146...so the goal of 148 sealed at the glass looks to be beat which is good...now im hoping it does a 150
i will keep u guys posted

thanx
well i got some onteresting news
with 1 amp he was able to do 146.7 sealed at the dash at 43hz
and he told me the trunk wasnt sealed off at all..which leads me to believe he could have gain a few tenths...and he also said he didnt beat on the subs hard cuz they havent broken in so he will gain a few tenths there as well

lets calculate
146.7
if he sealed the trunk off it should gain him .6 dbs
which will put him at 148.4
when the subs break in and he really beats on them i would say thats 1db gain which will put him a 149.4
keep in mind this is from 1 amp and the goal was 148 sealed up with 2
so if he drops the other amp in...in theory it will gain him 3db's but let just say 2db's we now lookin at 151.4..out of a trunk car and he can still play music on
im very pleased and so is he(the guy i designed the box for)

its 35wide x 18high x 29deep
yea i guess it is beefy for just 2 dd3512's

lol
but it has 217 total square inches of port so that take up room by itself
o with 1 sundown 3kd he was able to do between 147 and 148 legal @ 43hz..i just found that out..that was the highest
keep in mind he wasnt playingit hard at all and he was sending the subs rms power

im running about the same power same subs, do u think this would work in my 4runner? 15s took too much space and caused too much cancellation...
